What We Collect
- Global chat & reactions: Messages, reactions, typing status, usernames, and optional bubble colors you post in global chat. These are stored in Supabase with timestamps and an optional state/region label.
- Location (optional): If you allow it, we request device location to show a general state/region tag in chat. If blocked, we may look up an approximate region via IP. Precise coordinates are not stored.
- Usage & performance data: Basic logs about popular games, feature clicks, visitor counts, and stability to keep the site fast on low-end devices.
- Ads & analytics: Google AdSense for ads (cookies/ad IDs), Microsoft Clarity for session analytics/diagnostics, plus visitor counters (OptiStats and FreeVisitorCounters).
- Local storage (stays on your device): Theme, chat name/color, chat theme, last detected state, recent/favorite games, unread counts, low-end mode preference, and other in-site settings.
How We Use It
- Deliver real-time chat, reactions, typing indicators, and game pages.
- Remember your preferences and keep performance smooth.
- Measure what content works (aggregated stats) and fund the site with ads.
Cookies & Local Storage
AdSense uses cookies for ads and personalization. We use localStorage for preferences and gameplay convenience; clearing your browser data removes it.
Location Details
Granting location is optional. If allowed, we keep only a broad label (state/region/country) for chat display. If denied, we may use an approximate region from IP.
Sharing
Data is shared only with the services listed above (Supabase for chat, AdSense for ads, Clarity/visitor counters for analytics). We do not sell personal data.
Security & Retention
Chat and settings data are secured via Supabase and HTTPS. Chat history and reactions remain while the feature exists. Local storage stays on your device until you clear it. Aggregated analytics/traffic data may be retained to track trends.
Your Choices & Rights
- Decline location prompts or revoke permission in your device/browser settings.
- Clear site data/local storage to remove on-device preferences.
- Use ad settings to manage AdSense personalization.
- Ask us to remove specific chat messages you posted.
Children's Privacy
Nebulo is a general-audience site. Children should avoid sharing personal details in chat. If we learn that personal data from a child under 13 was shared, we will remove it.
